Maya's Grilled Herby Feta on Sour Dough Bread (v)
Ingredients
- 1 block of feta
- 1 tbsp Mixed herbs
- 1 tbsp Oregano
- a pinch of black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1-2 tsp. of Maya’s Nørrebro Chilli Sauce
Method
- Get the BBQ hot
- Place the feta on a piece of foil and edge the foil around the feta
- Drizzle the olive oil on the foil
- Place the garlic on the foil
- Top the garlic with the feta
- Add the mixed herbs, oregano and pepper on top of the feta
- Place the foiled feta on the BBQ, if it is on, or in the grill
- Cook it for 20 min whilst gently mixing in the herbs and garlic with a spoon
- Once the feta is melted with all the herbs mixed in, it can come off onto a plate
- Enjoy on lightly toasted sour dough bread drizzled with Maya’s Nørrebro Chilli Sauce as a starter or in a burger as a spread (see recipe for burger above)
